Previous Post: The Peak & Madame Tussauds Hong Kong
Before McCafe arrive at our shores I had my virgin vist to McCafe Hong Kong and it was a delightful experience.
Brightly lit dining area with plenty comfortable chairs with huge murals adorning the walls.
The ordering counter.
Chicken Mango Sandwich (HKD 31.00) & Latte with a lovely heart shape coffee art.
They have single portion and double portion for the sandwich.
My double portion Chicken Mango Sandwich ~ A thick ensemble of wholemeal bread, grilled chicken, mango, lettuce, cucumber and dressed with mayonnaise. I love how the mango cubes gave sufficient moist and fruity taste to the boring sandwich 😛
Sam with her Happy Meal toy (the musical bracelet).
Being a food heaven, Hong Kong definitely deserved the merit. From local street food to the high end fine dining of international cuisines, there must be something for everyone. Street food is thriving in this territory and I’m so familiar with them all include curry fish meat balls (咖喱魚蛋), fake shark fin soup (碗仔翅), egg waffle (雞蛋仔) and fried three filled treasures (煎釀三寶) which always appear in TVB dramas.
Hui Lau Shan appear at every nook and cranny which you’re hardly miss it!
Fa Yuen Street (花园街) bustling with activities; busy and chaotic.
The huge neon light signboards.
Camwhore 😛
The cute ice-cream van.
The infamous curry fish balls, the curry was fragrant and strong but the fish balls were soft >.<
Egg waffle (雞蛋仔), Oh boy I love this! Crispy outer with fluffy inner and the waffle was infused with aromatic egg flavor, oh so nice~
Skewers of siu mai and pig intestines was just generic and taste bland.
Other than feasting on the street foods, the 7-11 convenient store also my favorite hang out place for food hunting.
Equipped with microwaves to heat up your food.
The staff was kind enough to help us to heat up our food.
The rice burger.
The rice was slightly on the dry side but the chicken patty was still juicy~
Lotus leaf rice.
This was too dry for our liking and the taste was acceptable for pre-packed food.
Cup noodle, a must have because the varieties are irresistible!
Sigh…..Why our 7-11 so boring?

The first time I went 7-Eleven and I realised it was way much better than in Malaysia was in HK back in 2005. 4 times I went HK, each and everyday time must visit their 7-Eleven. It’s like must visit spot when visiting HK. Hahahaha
The truth is 7-11 at any country is better than us 🙁
