Mid Autumn Festival or Moon Cake Festival falls on 15th day of Chinese Lunar Calender or by Modern Calendar it is next Wednesday (22.9.2010). How many moon cakes have you eaten/received so far?

Bingo! It’s in square shape instead of traditional round shape! Various types of filling available such as Pure Lotus Paste, Lotus Paste with Double Egg Yolk, Pure White Lotus Paste, White Lotus Paste with Double Egg Yolk, & Red Bean Paste.
Other than normal baked moon cake, you might want to try their signature snow skin moon cake which comes with a few interesting filling.

The snow skin was made from Long Jing Tea Leaves which made it very fragrant with subtle bitter taste. The dense green tea lotus paste filling was not too cloying or too sweet, I think I can finish a whole moon cake πŸ˜›

Moon Cake Festival is a festival meant to gather all family members for reunion just like the Chinese proverb saying “ζœˆεœ†δΊΊε›’εœ†”. This year SDCC offered 2 set of 9 courses reunion meal @ RM 908.00++ & RM 1,038.00++ for 10 persons with complimentary 1 box of moon cake (4pcs).
