>Pasta Zanmai

>This time I invite Pris who just came back from London to join my food adventure. We didn’t see each others for almost 3 years I think, so we chat a lot & I hope she had a wonderful night that day.

Back to the food then…

Combination of spaghetti & your familiar Japanese ingredients like seaweed, miso and sesame…. Once you eat at Pasta Zanmai, your perception of pasta will never be the same again…..

Ceramic mortar and pestle to pound the black sesame seeds. A totally new experience for 2 of us…Pris seem like having fun grinding the sesame… 😛

Green Tea Pot (RM 3.00)

Salmon Pasta in Wafu Sauce (RM 22.00)

The salmon were cooked instead of raw as shown in menu but it’s still delicious. The light cream sauce enhanced by sprinklings of freshly grounded black sesame.

Teriyaki Chicken to Onsen Tamago no Pizza (Grilled Chicken and Hot Spring Egg Pizza) (RM 20.00)

The sweet appealing taste of teriyaki sauce is all over the thin crust pizza with grilled chicken, seaweed, mayonnaise, onions, spring onions & don’t forget the most special onsen egg (hot spring egg) as its topping.

We broke the egg with a fork and spread it out on the pizza, the lovely, soft, smooth, rich taste that explodes in the mouth really enhanced the taste of the pizza. But Pris keep saying that there was “cempedak” taste in the pizza…*weird* maybe she missed the taste of cempedak since she cannot get it at London? XD

Fruit Parfait (RM 15.00)

Their desserts selection was small but all delectable. We had this fruit parfait which topped with a scoop of vanilla ice-cream & bottomed with strawberry , kiwi & mango cubes in syrup.

Lovely present from Pris, thank you..*muaks*
