I had a ramen date with Jenn and Leo at Ramen Kanbe a few weeks ago after didn’t see each other for quite some times. It was a great catch up indeed, laughters and gossips throughout our dinner.

Ramen Kanbe, a Kobe style Japanese ramen featuring shoyu (soy sauce) base which is much different with the mainstream tonkatsu broth ramen that widely available in Malaysia. Tucked away at a secluded corner at Empire Damansara, right behind Epique Coffee, a landmark for you locate Ramen Kanbe.

Spicy Ramen (RM 21.00)

Appeared in crimson red hue and topped with minced meat and chives. It might look fiery  but the broth was mild in spiciness with subtle hint of sourness which very appetizing to the palate. A good choice if you found the shoyu soup base is too light for your liking.
