>Restoran Char Siew Zhai Wantan Mee
>Do you know there is a Char Siew Kingdom in PJ? You can get all those “Best Char Siew in Town” like this & this here. Now there is one more restaurant join in the battle!!! Beside the char siew they have another selling point too…
Flying Wantan Mee
They will throw the noodle high into the air several time before catching it to the sieve after the noodle was cooked in boil water.
PS: Sorry the photo didn’t show the wantan mee “flying” high 😛
Char Siew Dry Wantan Mee
The char siew is not those melt-in-your-mouth type, a bit rough & less oily and lack the sweetness that I prefer. But the noodle is springy & crunchy perhaps was the result of the “flying” process?
Char Siew & Siew Yok Rice
Generous portion of char siew & siew yok (Roast Pork). Both hubby & I like the luscious siew yok with exquisite layers of fat & crunchy skin, it taste very flavorful too~~
Some of the food available other than Char Siew. Roast Pork, Roast Pork Ribs, Wantan, Dumpling, Chicken Feet with Mushroom, Roast Duck & Chicken, Poached Chicken & Curry Chicken.
Verdict: I still prefer the Char Siew here but don’t mind come back because of the reasonable price.
