Rocket Coffeebar @ Bangkok
Expectation VS Reality
I had a crash course on the above when I visited the highly acclaimed Rocket Coffeecar at Bangkok. With almost non existence negative online reviews, I walked away disappointed with food I had.

We took Uber to Rocket Coffeebar nestled in a quiet quiet residential street at Sathorn after we checking in to Legacy Suites Bangkok. The small space looks delightful, adpoted a Scandinavian minimalism interior, plenty of warm wood tones and little details like cabinets filled with wine glasses and bottles, chrome coffee machines and dangling lighting. It had a laid-back, casual & chic vibe that I wouldn’t mind spending my whole afternoon at.

Al-fresco seat on the sidewalk.

Coffee beans for sale.
Rocket Coffeebar has garnered quite a name for serving up freshly baked goods and artisanal coffee. A must try is their signature cold brew coffee ~ Rocket Fuel.

Caffe Latte (95 Baht)
Coffee cannot fault – good strong coffee prepared well with clearly fresh roasts.

Rocket Water (45 Baht)
The menu is rather pleasing with a wide range of dishes, from healthy to comfort such as breakfast plate, salads, pasta, sandwiches, waffles and desserts.

Roasted Pumpkin Carrot Soup (165 Baht)

A hearty bowl of soup. Nice creamy texture, natural sweetness from the pumpkin and carrot as well as addition of roasted pumpkin seeds for that pleasant crunchy texture.

Rocket’s Benedict (210 Baht)

What a bummer if they can’t nail the simplest things on the menu….sandwiches and eggs benedict! 🙁
The egg benedict was ok just the temperature matter >_<
the roast pork sandwich sounds like it’d be enjoyable with much more pork! 🙂
You are absolutely voice out my wish Sean 😛
