World of Phalaenopsis @ Ulu Yam Bahru
Before our afternoon tea time at Kebun Cafe, we visited one of the main attractions at Ulu Yam, which is World of Phalaenopsis. Built on a 6-acre agricultural land, World of Phalaenopsis as its name implies, is a nursery specialises in moth orchids.
There’s no admission fee but crowd control was exercised here to prevent excessively dense crowds. I’ll just let my photos to bring you for a stroll at this beautiful orchid farm.
Feel free to take as many photos as you like at the outdoor area filled with lush greenery, from roof to the ground.
How about bring back home a pot or two orchids? These are more affordable range of plant, priced at RM25/plant.
There was small selection of succulent plants for sale also.
There were two air-conditioned sections with some more exclusive aka expensive (^_^;) species and photography and kids are not allowed here.
The Florescence Cafe lies at the back of the nursery, offers some hot food, desserts and beverages, with astonishing view of the waterlilies pond.

The orchids are gorgeous and so are the ferns! I love plants and if I went there, sure will the tempted wanna buy this and wanna buy that.

My mom told me it’s not easy to take care of orchid, she bought a pot from here too, still alive though, LOL.
Love these kinda places, so soothing.
