Yen Can Cook: Angel Hair with Spicy Shrimps
Another pasta recipe which can be done in less than 30 minutes. This pasta dish of Angel Hair with Spicy Shrimps makes an easy weeknight meal and it’s perfect for busy weeknights.
Ingredients (Serve: 2-3)

150g angel hair
8-10 shrimps, remove head and shell but remain the tail on. Devein and clean.
10 cherry tomatoes, halved
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon olive oil
McCormick Black Pepper Grinder
McCormick sea Salt Grinder
McCormick Chili Flakes
Parmesan cheese
Fresh or dried parsley
Marinade
McCormick Black Pepper Grinder
McCormick sea Salt Grinder
McCormick Chili Ground/Chili Flakes
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Step 1: Marinate the shrimps with marinade for 20 minutes, set aside.
Step 2: Cook the pasta according to the packet instructions, drain and set aside.
Step 3: Heat the oil in a large frying pan (I’m using Chefology pan :P), toss in the minced garlic and cook over a fairly gentle heat for about 30 seconds without letting the garlic brown. Tip in the shrimps and cook over a high heat, stirring frequently, for about 3 minutes until they half cooked.
Note: For a spicier note, add in fresh chili when stir frying the garlic.
Step 4: Add in cherry tomatoes and continue to stir occasionally, until they just start to soften. Toss in the pasta and pour in a ladle of pasta water. (Step 2) Season with McCormick sea Salt Grinder, McCormick sea Salt Grinder and McCormick Chili Flakes.
Step 5: Serve and sprinkle with parsley and grated Parmesan cheese.
