Yen Can Cook ~ Canned Stewed Pork with Potato
A dish that need zero effort but doesn’t compromise on the flavours – Canned Stewed Pork with Potato. I believe this is another common recipe that how people will make use of canned stewed pork (Hong Shao Kou Rou or commonly known as Kou Rou) other than Fried Meehoon with Canned Stewed Pork.
Ingredients (Serve:3-4)
1 canned stewed pork
2 medium size potatoes, thick sliced/cut into small wedges
1 teaspoon dark soy sauce (optional)
Water

Step 1: In pot, put in potato slices/wedges, add water enough to submerge the potato. Bring to a boil and simmer until potatoes are 80% soften. Drain and set aside.
Step 2: Heat the skillet and pour in the canned stewed pork and add in the potatoes (Step 1). Add dark soy sauce to darken the gravy (optional). Mix well.
Step 3: Simmer in low heat until the potatoes are soften to your preferred texture. Serve.
