Salt and pepper to taste
Meat Marinade
1 teaspoon soy sauce
A dash of pepper
1 teaspoon Shao Xin Wine
1/2 teaspoon sesame seed oil

Step 1: Marinade the meat with the marinade for 1 hour.
Step 2: Peel the skin of the hairy gourd, remove seeds and slice into pieces.
Step 3: Put the chicken stock in a pot, add in ginger, hairy gourd and bring to boil.

Nice and simple recipe.. although strictly speaking, it’s not really a 20-minute recipe since we need to marinade the meat for 1 hour…
So strict lah u π You can actually marinade the meat in shorter time, haha!
20 mins is only the time for cooking not including the preparation and marinating time hehe it’s nice though… Soup and also a dish …2 in 1 happy cooking πππ
