>Yut Kee

>It’s an 80 years old Hainanese coffee shop & it has been reviewed by food bloggers for ages but I only managed to visit them recently. [Pls don’t call me outdated πŸ™ ]

Hubby & I reached there at about 10am & there was already a short queue waiting outside the shop. The lady boss (I assumed) was patiently arranging seats for the new arrivals.

Full house O.O”

Since it’s only 2 of us, we have to share a table with a family outside the restaurant. Order was taken in a jiffy by the waiter & the food come quite fast too~~

Hainanese Coffee (Ice)
Aromatic ~~

Toast with butter & homemade kaya
Hubby read about good reviews of it but this came out quite disappointed me~~ The toasted breads were cold =.=”

Fried Hainan Mee
White version of Hokkien Mee? It taste bland & don’t have any “wok hei” too~~

Roti Babi
Definitely a popular / signature food of Yut Kee!!! Deep fried bread with shredded pork, Chinese wax sausages, crab meat & caramelized onions filling. It’s even taste better if sprinkle with some Lea & Perrins Worchestershire Sauce– the sour, sweetish & salty sauce enhance the flavor of the
bread~~
