Product Review: Lilac Box 4 (August 2013)

I got it! I got it!I got it finally! I’ve tried to subscribe the Lilac Box for the past 2 months but everybody seem like act faster than me and the box was sold out within an incredibly short period. This month I’ve subscribed to receive their latest update and when they announced the latest box 4 was opened for subscription, I stayed in front of my laptop and clicked “PURCHASE” once the clock struck 10 on that Saturday morning! *kiasu mode ON*

As a first-timer to Lilac Box, I’ve learnt that it contains a selection of beauty and cosmetic products only from premium and luxury brands and called it “Blind Date in a Box”. Are you ready to see my gorgeous blind date at my door step?

A fragrance which accentuates delicate white flower notes with a hint of spices and fruit.

Jimmy Choo’s first fragrance which containing accords of candied orange, tiger orchid, toffee caramel, amber, sandalwood and patchouli.

 

OPI Nail Lacquer ~ Ya’ll Come Back Ya Hear?(full size)

I was like WOW when I saw a OPI nail polish in the box, make the $ I paid very well worthy, hehe 😛 However I have a similar colour in my nail lacquer collection (but different brand) 🙁

There is different colour of OPI nail lacquer in each box, what did you get?

L’Oreal Professionnel Mademoiselle Infinium Hair Spray (100ml)

This avant-garde inspired new product was created by back stage stylist, Charlie le Mindu. A stylist to Lady Gaga, this French hairdresser is known for his creativity and edgy appeal. It is a strong hold hairspray which also gives the hair a beautiful shine.

Verdict: Not really use any hair spray nowadays 😛

Verdict: I have already tried in when I got my Vanity Trove June 2013 Edition & I would say I love this product which leave my hair less frizzy 🙂

 

Sothys Hydradvance Light Hydrating Cream (15ml)

Sothys Hydradvance Light Hydrating Cream provides softness and hydration for normal to combination skins and preserves beauty day after day. It contains Ophiopogon plant extract which regulates water transfer; this Asian evergreen is known for its ability to resist drought and capture water.

I’m using this before I receive my Lilac Box 4, recommended by my beautician as I my skin is quite dehydrated sometimes.

Sothys Hydradvance Nourishing Mask (15ml)

PS: Quite an expensive brand, i bought mine with promotion price when I signed up the facial treatment.

Verdict: Overall I’m a satisfied subscriber, what I like most is there isn’t any discount voucher in the box which I feel is quite unless for me 😛 Although the subscription fee is slightly higher than others but still worthy considering the premium brand products I’ve received.
