>Yaki-Yaki Japanese Barbeque Buffet Restaurant
>Now many Japanese buffet restaurants are having 50% discount such as Daidomon, Xenri & the lastest Yaki-Yaki Japanese Barbeque Buffet Restaurant. Since we (my makan gang) knew about these, without any hesitate we make reservation to have dinner on 28 March 2009 (Ya, it’s 60 Earth Hour Day)

Environment, water features & private tatami room
There are quite a wide selection of cooked food on the buffet spread eg: tempura, sushi, sashimi, soba & some Chinese food too but I didn’t take any of it because I want to concentrate on the BBQ food only, hehe (You can call me kiasu) 😛
These are some foods that we had:-
7-8 types of sauces for dipping

Miso Beef Slices – We had a few plates of this, a good one!!!

Fat Beef Slices & Chawanmushi – Pls skipped the chawanmushi, not smooth at all, taste yucks!!

Marinated Lamb Cutlet – Taste good when directly grill on the fire with the foil bowl 😛

Scallop with butter cream – The scallop shrink until very small after cooked =.=”

Squid – Seasoning with salt & pepper when grilling, taste good & not rubbery at all!!

Shishamo – There are many others fishes like cod fish, pomfret & garoupa head

Japanese “Nasi Impit”? Grilled until golden brown, crispy outer with inner soft rice~~~yummy ~.~

Potato or sweet potato – I prefer sweet potato, taste really sweet perhaps that’s Japanese Sweet Potato~~

Corn – Quite dry & taste burnt after grilled 🙁

Rice Cake – Grill until soft & eat with dipping the peanut crunches~~*Gooey*

Young coconut – They have a looooooot of this, pity me can’t take any cold beverage *sob*sob*
Replenish very fast, thumbs up for them!!!
Other beverages available – Chinese Tea, Soft Drinks, Milo, Coffee & Fruit Juice.

Do try the lamb sausage (right), very succelent!!! I had at least 4 pcs of it!!!!

Verdict: Wide selection of food (fresh) , good ventilation (I barely got any smoky smell on my hair & cloths after the dinner) & prompt service, really worth of every cents that you paid. But since there is only 1 grill & exhaust fan provided for each table, cooking time might be longer if more people sharing a table.
