Yen Can Cook ~ Stir Fried Choy Sum with Siew Yoke
This is another great recipe to use up your leftover roasted pork aka Siew Yoke that you should bookmark it!
I’ve tried to associate other ingredient into my vegetable stir fry dishes (refer HERE, HERE, HERE & HERE) and it always can spice up my regular vegetable dishes. The marriage of full flavoured roasted pork and light tasting of Choy Sum of today’s recipe will definitely captivate your taste bud.
Ingredients (Serve: 3-4)
600-800g roaste pork/Siew Yoke
1kg Choy Sum or any other leafy greens
3 cloves garlic, chopped
1/2 tablespoon oyster sauce
Salt & sugar to taste
Cooking oil
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Step 1: Trim off the end of the Choy Sum stalks then cut into smaller pieces.
Step 2: Heat up cooking oil in wok and stir fry garlic until aromatic.
Step 3: Add in the roasted pork and stir fry for 30 seconds. Add in Choy Sum stems and cook for another 2 minutes or until 70% cooked. Add in leafy parts and oyster sauce, cook for another 1 minute until well cooked.
Step 4: Add salt and sugar to taste.
Step 5: Serve.
HAPPY COOKING! #stayhealthy #staysafe
