Philips Airfryer Cooking Challenge @ Empire Shopping Gallery
If you are my blog’s follower, you will know that I like cooking and my recipes are frequently shared in my blog too. Have a guess what’s my favourite kitchen appliance for the time being? It’s Philips Airfryer (PAF) that I won from Philips Airfryer Cooking Challenge last month which almost 70% of my cooking can be done by using it and it’s amazingly make my kitchen totally oil free! Read more about PAF HERE.
It was my second time participated in a cooking competition and I felt more nervous if compare with the previous one as we didn’t give any clue on what’s the topic of the cooking challenge and the only thing we knew was the main cooking utensil we have to use was the Philips Airfryer 😛
A game session and cooking demonstration by one of the judge, Chef Zam before the competition started.
We (10 bloggers) were paired with Fitness First instructors or members when the cooking challenge and photo above was drawing session of how we picked our partners and the main ingredient that the team has to cook. Each team was given approximately one hour to figure out the competing dish and shop for the extra ingredients that needed.
Ingredients, sauces and condiments prepared by the organizer.
With my team mate that day, Sharon which is a Fitness First member and we were discussing our dish after knowing that we had to prepare a “SQUID” dish. *brainstorming*
Discussion discussion discussion!
We were given a hour to complete our dish and here’s the competitors busy choosing the required ingredients.
Serious, concentrate & relax~~ ^__*
All the team tried their best to present the most creative and refined dish to the judges.
Do you know that Philips Airfryer can bake a cake too? Amazing right?
Judges strolled around to check on our progress.
Time’s up and we made it! Let’s welcome the judges!

I didn’t know you can use air fryer to make squid tarlet ! I have one too but it’s from Kuche. I have not used it for anything else except frying chicken wings.
Yours can bake cake or not and do you know that AF also can steam food? Just wrap the food with aluminum foil will do 🙂
