Yen Can Cook ~ One Pot Cabbage Rice (Easy Rice Cooker Version)

Try out this savory cabbage rice in your rice cooker with the press of a button. The only thing better than how easy it is to make is the bold flavor!
Other One Pot Rice Recipe:-
Chicken Burdock Corn One Pot Rice
Ingredients (Serve: 3-4)
2 cups jasmine rice
1/3 cabbage, tear/cut into small pieces
100-150g minced meat (pork or chicken)
50g dried shrimp,
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 cups water
Cooking oil
Seasoning
1 tablespoon soy sauce
1.5 tablespoon oyster sauce
1 teaspoon salt

Step 1: Soak the dried shrimps with room temperature water until soft.
Step 2: Rinse jasmine rice with water, drain and set aside.
Step 3: Heat cooking oil in a wok, saute minced garlic till fragrant then add in dried shrimps (Step 1), continue to saute till both garlic and dried shrimps are browned and fragrant.
Step 4: Add in minced meat and cabbage, stir fry for 1 minute. Add in all seasoning, stir to combine. Add in Jasmine rice (Step 2) and stir fry until all the liquid has evaporated. Turn of the fire.
Step 5: Transfer the rice mixture (Step 4) to the cooking bowl of the rice cooker. and cook rice as usual. After the button has switched to the “keep warm” setting, let it sit for about 5 minutes.
Step 6: Open the lid and fluff the rice with a paddle. Serve.

I can tell that this is a very tasty savory rice. Can’t go wrong with minced meat and dried shrimps.
PH, the dried shrimp especially, the flavour enhancer I would say.
I should try this, got plenty of dried shrimps at home.
