>Al-Amar @ Pavilion ~ MIGF Festival Menu
>The weather these few days are gloomy & dull and I bet it makes you mood-less to work right? Let me perks you up with some exquisite food from Middle East! Middle East cuisine might sound strange for some of you but not for me as I’ve tried it once. Read my maiden experience here.
Al-Amar, a Lebanese cuisine restaurant nestled in 6th floor of Pavilion at Kuala Lumpur Golden Triangle provides a relax atmosphere during the day with a warm and earthy interior dotted with exotic paintings and Lebanese ornaments, while transforming into a haven of romance at night.
I really adore the elegant chandelier here~

Pita bread baking & one of the signature food of Middle East cuisine ~ kebab meat
Since Al-Amar is one of the 30 restaurants participating in MIGF, we opted to try their special MIGF Festival Menu that night. On top of that we wanted this (see below) !!

Diners who opted for the MIGF Festival Menu are entitled to enter a lucky draw to stand a chance for a fully-paid trip to Lebanon, 5D4N for 2 persons!!! Wish me GOOD LUCK please!!!
Full Festival Menu
RM128++ per person with wine
RM98++ per person without wine
Our dinner kick started with starter of Cold Mezze Palette

Clockwise from top left:
Pink Hommos (Mashed Chick Peas, Sesame Seed Paste with Special Spices, Lemon Juice and Olive Oil)
Moutabbal with Avocado (Mashed Grilled Eggplant with Sesame Seed Paste, Lemon Juice Combined with Fresh Avocado and A Touch of Garlic Drizzled with Olive Oil)
Rocket Beetroot Salad (Salad with sliced onions, sumak and an infusion of mustard dressin.

Freshly baked pita bread to eat along with the starter especially the Hommos. I really adored the fluffy & soft texture of the bread ~
Pairing wine :-
Chรขteau Musar Jeune Rose 2007, Bekaa Valley, Lebanon – Rose wine, mild in taste which I am fond of ๐

Arak – Lebanese alcohol which tasted really strong with hints of mints. Do beware of the after-effect ๐ Worth a try as it is really different from the normal alcoholic that we have..
Hot Mezzo Duo
Soujouk
Small serving of grilled lamb sausages poised on a quail egg and served with pomegranate sauce created a robust taste when I ate it as a whole in my mouth!

Shrimp Falafel
Chick Peas and Split Pea Fritters stuffed with Whole King Prawn accompanied with Pistachio Tarator Sauce. The fritters was crispy on the outside while the prawn inside still retain succulent.
The mains come with 2 choices
Steamed Roll of Stuffed Chicken Breast
Steamed Chicken Breast with Rosemary and Stuffed with Chicken Liver Served with Pureed Carrots. The chicken breast was a tad dry & bland but luckily the accompanied sauce saves the dish.
or
Grilled Kafta
Minced Lamb Kafta resting On A bed of Rรถsti served with Apricot Paste. The minced lamb was redolent with herbs & the crisp on the edge rosti compliment each other very well.
How can a perfect dinner ends without dessert?
Aish El Saraya
Creamy Pudding topped with Pistachios and Fruity Sauce. I found it is way too sweet for my liking.
Some of my companions that night also had the Lebanese coffee which very aromatic & strong.
A great night with all those well created delicate food at the cozy & soothing ambience, I truly enjoyed it~~
