After Plan B, I continue my “B-journey” to another restaurant under The BIG Group ~ Ben’s General Food Store. It sound like a grocery shop more than a restaurant huh 😛
Long communal tables painted in white and vintage-y metal chairs.
Al-fresco dining.
Their specialties & some interesting quotes on chalkboards adorning the restaurant.
Condiments and cutlery placed in wooden drawer box on every table.
Salad & dessert display cabinets.

Ben’s General Food Store (BGFS) offer quite startling array of salads in myriad colours but our order turned out to be merely generic and tasted quite bland.
BGFS also offer a good selection of pizza; both savory & sweet
Rucola Limone Pizza (RM 19.90)
Simplicity is the word to describe this pizza; rocket leaves & fresh lemon cuts. Tasted a bit weird for us for its “novelty” ingredients but the thin crust was excellent with crispy round edges.
Pollo Ananas Pizza (RM 21.90)
Chicken, fresh pineapple, roasted garlic and cheese on luscious melted cheese. The taste was much similar our common Hawaiian pizza.
Funghi Pizza (RM 22.90)
The thin crust pizza was topped with mozzarella cheese, fresh wild mushrooms, mascarpone and drizzled with truffle oil. It smelt and tasted delightfully earthy & the mascarpone definitely the magic ingredient, creating a burst of flavors!
Cut the pizza yourself with the provided pizza cutter.
Verdict: Maybe I had a high expectation before I came, the food I had was far from being impressive in my books, but I paid them a second visit for breakfast, will blog it soon. Stay tune~

I went back again for their pizzas and salads at the Bangsar Village store… the salad there was really flavorful woh… maybe the chef here had a bad day? :0)

I like the rocket leaves .. very nice..
But seem like too much of it make me feel like a goat munching on grass 😛
I like their pizza…
Some are good !
the food presentation is great and the price sounds okay around that area, but i hope they can produce food of better taste and quality 🙂

Food always taste better when you eat with the correct person , agree?
