Bulgogi House @ Kota Damansara
I had been craving for Korean BBQ, specifically all-you-can-eat style for quite some time, but it was only early last month that my wish was finally granted.
After referred to some online reviews, we decided to visit the Bulgogi House, located in the bustling Kota Damansara commercial area.
The restaurant was rather vacant during our visit for Saturday lunch. The dining area was bright and comfy.
There are two refill set to be chosen and we opted for the cheaper one – Happy Refill.
Price: RM29.99/adult and RM19.99/child, for lunch or dinner.
There is a buffet counter filled with small selection of food, Banchan and sauces.
Noodles for Super Refill Set.
Banchan and pickles.
Kimchi, sauces and condiments.
For the first round, the staff will serve ALL the food that included in the set to the customers, and customers can repeat order(s) whatever they want after trying.
Kimchi Jjigae
Packed with common ingredients include Kimchi, pork, tofu and mushrooms, but the flavour was a little subdued.
Kimchi Pancake
Both taste and texture were disappointing, it tasted bland and the unusually chewy texture was rather weird. (-“-;)
Korean Steamed Egg
This also failed to impress me as it had an unpleasant faint burned taste.
While the above food seem didn’t live up to our expectation, the sizzling platter was a lot more better. There were Tokochi (rice cakes skewer), Pork Tteokgalbi (BBQ pork patty), BBQ chicken and BBQ pork.
Coated with sticky and spicy sauce, the rice cakes skewers with crusty outer and chewy texture were scrumptious.
The pork patty was ravishingly flavourful thanks to the brilliant marinade.
For those who prefer to enjoy the original flavour of the meat, the BBQ chicken and pork served here suit your taste bud as they came without any marinade. But would I like the meat to be marinated? Sure! ୧⍢⃝୨
How to get the food refill? ↑
Last but no least, the all melted ice cream to end the meal. T_T
Verdict: Price wise, although the price is quite wallet friendly considering that it’s an all-you-can-eat Korean BBQ buffet, however the food did not manage to lure me to a second visit.

What a disappointment although the sizzling platter saved the day. How come the ice cream all melted, was it served at the start of the meal?
PH, the ice cream was kept in a fridge but it was in melted condition. >_<
Too bad the food didn’t meet your expectations although the price seems pretty good! 😉
Kris, if they provide marinaded pork, I’ll come back again. 😛
want more kimchi jiggae!
