>Bumbu Bali
>
I’ve been to Bali a few years ago and truly enchanted by its culture & the special Balinese architecture. If there is a restaurant that can bring back my memory about Bali I’ll definitely won’t miss it. Bumbu Bali is the one….
The restaurant occupied a 2-storey shop, we opts for upstairs that day but it was totally a wrong choose, it’s so warm until me & my niece sweating like hell. Perhaps it’s because of the hot weather?(It’s super hot April)

There were Buddha portraits & sculptures everywhere..
Some for sales too….but the prices were horrendous =_=lll
Although we have 4 adult + 1 child, we only order 2 main course and a pasta because I understood that the food portion here are huge.

Es Campur – RM 8.50
A concoction of ice blended with sago, jackfruit, banana, honeydew, watermelon, and sweet shredded coconut.

Campur-Campur Tiga – RM 30.50
It’s supposedly an appetizer but who said it cannot feed us as main course?
It’s a platter of barbecued chicken wings, sate lilit (a mixture of minced chicken and fish, prawns and squid wrapped around a lemon grass stalk , and cumi-cumi goreng (fried squid), accompanied by sambal matah (which is made of salad oil with spices like lemon grass, bird’s-eye chilli, shallots, and garlic), sambal terasi (which is similar to the local sambal) and tartar sauce.
BBQ chicken wings (Campur-Campur Tiga)

Fried calamari (Campur-Campur Tiga)

Sate Lilit (Campur-Campur Tiga)
I like this the most, so flavorful but it’s only a very thin layer…

Nasi Ayam Bertutu – RM 20.50
The Ayam Bertutu was Balinese roasted chicken with a special lemongrass seasoning served together with others condiments like crackers, sauteed kangkung, fruits and 2 different types chili sauces.

Chicken Pasta – RM 16.50
Spaghetti topped with a piece of fried chicken chop, shredded with lots of fried onions, shallots & diced tomato. The sauce is not our familiar tomato sauce or white cream but unidentified sauce =_=” (Fail to be a food blogger huh…….) Not really like it though… 😛

Celebration for mom’s birthday…
