Chatz Brasserie ~ The Hawker A-Fair
I love our local hawker food, from Char Koay Teow, Asam Laksa, Roti Canai, Satay, Chicken Rice & etc. Whenever I’m craving for these delicacies I will headed to the food court and savor them at a hot and maybe “not so hygiene” environment. >.< How I wish I can have all these delicious hawker food at a comfortable and air-conditioned ambiance!
Deng! Chatz Brasserie presents a truly local experience in March and April with its ‘Hawker A-Fair’ buffet dinner where diners get to savor a Malaysian culture of hawker cuisine prepared by the chefs a la minute at the various live action stalls. This is the place where traditional hawker fare meets hotel congeniality!
Spacious and comfortable dining area with huge floor-to-ceiling glass panel overlooking the busy street.
My dinner was kicked start with assorted appetizing kerabu, very perfect palate-opener.
Cold cuts and salad ~
Ulam-ulam in myriad of colours and a few types of sambal and sauces.
Poached mussels, crabs and scallops; have this with only a squeeze of lemon juice to taste freshness of the seafood!
Main dishes of Spaghetti Aglio-Olio with Seafood, Chinese Baby Kailan, Roasted Lamb with Garlic Rosemary Sauce, Clams in Oyster Sauce and Mexican Baked Fish.
I love both Sup Tulang and Sup Kambing, redolent with herbs; each spoonful was a treasure!
Unpretentious looking roasted duck tasted really fabulous with the crispy skin, you definitely can’t miss this!
