Doreme Eatery @ Mont Kiara
Located right beside Miyatake Sanuki Udon, Doreme Eatery is a casual restaurant that offers a mishmash of local, Chinese and western delights with a very wallet friendly price tag.
Both indoor and outdoor seating are available.
The large menu that caters to multiple preferences covers everything from assorted roasted meat (roasted duck, roasted chicken, Char Siew, Siew Yoke) that can be served with rice or noodles, single dish rice, noodle variety of soup and fried noodles, pasta, main, salad, Nasi Lemak, cheese baked rice/noodles, porridge, toasts and dessert.
Signature Coffee (RM6.50)
The floating coffee icy bear to prevent the drink from being diluted.
Roasted Duck, Char Siew & Roasted Pork Noodles (RM19.90)
For less than RM20.00, we were given a rather big roasted duck drumstick and good portion of Char Siew and Siew Yoke. Those roasted meat were decent but did not leave us with a strong impression. The Wonton Mee was well cooked to a springy texture and tossed with a savoury dark sauce.
Signature Fried Hong Kong Noodles (RM15.90)
My plate of Hong Kong Style Chow Mein or Soy Sauce Fried Noodles (豉油王炒麵) was packed with sliced pork, fish cake slices, prawns, fried egg pieces and fair amount of bean sprouts and chives. The thin egg noodles was dry-fried to the distinctive “crisp” and slightly chewy texture, coated in a savoury soy sauce mixture.
Nasi Lemak with Luncheon Meat (RM14.90)
The Nasi Lemak was mediocre but the fried anchovies were bigger than the usual types.
Verdict: Taste wise, the food that we tried weren’t bad but not entirely amazing either. But if you’re in Mont Kiara area and looking for a more budget-friendly meal, Doreme Eatery unquestionably a good option with diverse varieties of food.

Actually your plate of wantan mee with roasted meats look very appetising…and to get that amount of meats for RM20 in Mont Kiara is quite unbelievable. If they were near me, I’d certainly want to try. The noodles also look good but the nasi lemak is the least delicious-looking of the three.
The wantan mee with three roasted meats look very impressive although you were not impressed with the taste. I would say that the Soy Sauce Fried Noodles looks very tempting. Just looking at it, I feel like I want fried noodles LOL!
