Kinerase® conducted a clinical study in Asia on Kinetin for tracking skin aging on photo-damaged skin called the Kinerase® Innovative Skincare Study (K.I.S.S. trial). Over the 12 week K.I.S.S. trial, 275 patients in Hong Kong, Malaysia and Taiwan were assessed by 30 physicians over regular intervals at week 4, 8 and 12. Their aim was to test the effectiveness of Kinerase® Cream containing 0.1% Kinetin in enhancing Asian complexion on real patients, with inspiring results.

After just 12 weeks, patients and physicians were at most to see an improvement of fine wrinkles by 38%. Other benefits included a 37% reduction in skin blotchiness, 36% reduction in skin roughness and 34% improvement in overall skin condition.

The place was bustling with activities when Karen & I reached there and most of the bloggers were wearing the theme colour of this event which is obviously was BLUE!

 

Bloggers were given a simple makeover of putting blue lipstick and temporary tattoo.

 

Everyone seem like very happy with the makeover, the bluish makeover!

 

Even the Dr. Koh (one of the panelist of the sharing session) satisfied with his blue lips tattoo.

 

Bloggers had their polaroid pictures taken and wrote down the wish for our skin.

According to Amy there are numerous international clinical papers on Kinetin but there were no comprehensive study measuring how well Kinetin works on Asian skin. So far, the results of the K.I.S.S trial have been wonderful.

 

Tammy Lim, editor-in-chief of plusizekitten.com was one of those who participated in the K.I.S.S. trial and had positive results as she said that her fine lines and wrinkles had been reduced and her complexion was clearer since she started using the Cream.
