Kofuku
I love Japanese food, recently I discovered a hidden gem! Kofuku @ Seri Pacific Hotel which formerly known as Pan Pacific Hotel located just right beside Putra World Trade Centre.
Once I enter the restaurant, I can smell the air of Japan!

Scenic view of the landscaped Japanese garden.

Bamboo elements, Japanese dolls & Japanese Stone Pagoda, brought out the Japanese feel.

Neat & simple dining area with soothing & comfy ambiance.

One of the private room with tatami seats.

Chopsticks collection of the Chopstick Club

Even our former prime minister, Tun Dr. Mahathir is their frequent customer.

Master Chef Amy Zakaria preparing our food.

That night I was seated in front of the Teppanyaki counter watching the “performance” of the Teppanyaki chef.
PS: But make sure you can stand for the heat & the odour afterward if you wanna to be seated here >.<

He like to play with fire!!!
Warning: He is well trained, don’t simply try this at home!
Ok, come back to the food. When think of Japanese food, what is the first thing come into your mind?

Sashimi!!!
Our first dish came in an aesthetically manner in a wooden boat.

Fresh cut of Salmon, Maguro & Butter Fish.

Cheese baked Oyster
Oh, this was so yummy! Fresh scallop coupled with baked cheese, such a perfect combination!

Chawanmushi
The additional of ebikko (flying fish roe) added a crunchy twist to the silky smooth steam egg. I enjoyed this immensely!

Tempura Moriawase
This tempura platter consisted of fish, prawns, lady finger, brinjal and shiso leaf. I like them not drenched in oil and had a nice crinkly bits of flour at the edges that gave them a nice crunch. But finished the whole plate make me had sore throat on the next day >.<

From Teppanyaki kitchen.
The aroma was so nice when this served on our table. It’s from the homemade herbs butter to used for the pan frying food.

Tender & succulent Beef & Chicken.

Scallop at far end, Salmon & Assorted Vegetables
The piece of fish was nicely grilled, when pairing with the herbs butter it became a potent combination!

Green Tea Ice Cream & Fruits.
A complete closure to a good meal, ending on a sweet note.

Oh, did I tell you guys I had my first sake here? The sake was mild which I feel comfortable with it.
