Park’s Bagels @ Tropicana Gardens Mall, Kota Damansara
I’ve been hearing so much about Park’s Bagels from friends but since myself not a fan of bagel, it doesn’t intrigue me much.
There was one day when we were loitering at the mall after lunch and need to pack some light food for teatime at home, and I think bagel met the requirement perfectly.
The holy month of Ramadan certainly a good timing for many activities include travelling (Cuti-Cuti Malaysia, to be precise), outdoor activities (hiking or picnic), as well as visit eateries like Park’s Bagels which is often thronged with people during weekends. The cafe wasn’t as busy as normal days, no queue was spotted and there were still vacant tables for dining in.
A pretty enticing sight of baskets of assorted bagels being displayed at the entrance, to attract the passers by.
Cream cheese in various of flavours to go with the bagels.
Their simple menu featured assorted bagels, cream cheeses and small selection of scones and cookies. One can either purchase an al carte bagel (RM8/pcs) and cream cheese (RM9) spread or they also offered set menu like set of one bagel+one cream cheese (RM14), or 5 bagels+3 cream cheeses (RM53).
Set A (RM14.00) – 1 bagel + 1 cream cheese
Choices for bagel included, Plain, Sesame, Onions, Garlic, Blueberry, Cranberry, Poppy Seed, and Whole Meal.
Choices for cream cheese included Plain, Spring Onion, Jalapeno, Lotus Caramel, Basil Tomato, Pineapple, Fig, Smoked Chicken Ham, Mixed Berries, Maple Walnut, Strawberry, Cranberry, Blueberry, Double Chocolate and their new flavour – Buldak.
Cheese Bagel (RM8.00)
I was spoilt for choice when deciding which bagel and creme cheese to get as there were a few flavours that I would would like to try.
In the end, I got myself the sesame and cheese bagel paired with Smoked Chicken Ham creme cheese. Although the look of the bagel resembles donut but the texture is totally different. It has a solid, dense and slightly chewy texture. The Smoked Chicken Ham creme cheese was savoury with generous amount of ham pieces.
Verdict: The combination of the pastry and spread definitely doesn’t come cheap, I shall let it remains as an occasional treat.

This reminds me of the bagel & salt beef I had in London many years ago, wish we’d have that here.
KY, salt beef shouldn’t hard to find in Klang Valley, maybe you can buy the bagel & salt beef separately and ensemble it at home. 😛
I used to order sourdough bagels from Beng Beng Sourdough and theirs is very nice but too expensive.
PH, I checked out the price too when you shared about Beng Beng, the price indeed rather high. >_<
