pH Pastry House and Levain Boulangerie not only situated at same area but also share the similar concept of pastry is the main with small selections of snack, breakfast item, soup and pasta in their menu.

Converted from a bungalow, the facade of brick walls with some interesting elements (look at the round shape ornaments) was pretty promising.
More decorative items in vibrant colours!
Stepped into the restaurant, the natural light penetrate through the glass panels has brighten up the whole dining area. Plenty of simple wooden tables and metal chairs (think of restaurants under The Big Group) allocated within the area and luckily I still felt the place was spacious enough to have a pleasant dining experience.

Classic Carbonara
Portion was big and the ham and mushroom were in abundance. The white sauce was reasonably creamy and slightly thick without stodgy, the sprinkles of fresh herbs had provided an extra aroma to it.
Chinese Style Seafood Pasta
The flavor of this soupy pasta was light and showcased the natural flavors of the prawns and mushroom thoroughly. The chopped garlic gave it a pleasant garlicky taste.

I love the ambiance of this place and would like to come back for more of their cakes which I didn’t manage to try this time and also the breakfast set which available till 6pm!

nice place but I tot it was a pastry house… didnt see much pastry there… but your creamy pasta looks really yummy!
