Talika Youth Through Light Workshop

Thanks for the invitation from Vanity Trove, I got a chance to attend this beauty workshop presented by Talika a few weeks back at Cafe Gino at Isetan, 1 Utama SHopping Centre.

I was greeted by the Talika’s beauty consultant upon arrival and was given an opportunity to try on the Hand Therapy Gloves.

The venue ~ Cafe Gino. Light refreshment was prepared for participants while waiting for the workshop to be started.

I strolled around the place and took photos of some of their products.

The workshop was conducted by Ms. Rebecca Ong, the trainer of Talika. Started with history of Talika, she gave a very clear explanation on Talika’s origin and some related stories.

Talika is favourite brand of many Hollywood celebrities.

For several years, Talika explores the secrets and virtues of the light from the discoveries made by NASA in the 1970S. In 2008, the first light reveals a secret: each wavelength of light has a specific treatment under the skin. Thanks to this technological breakthrough, Talika launches first cosmetic revolution and gave birth to the Light Therapy.

Talika laboratories have developed the Talika Light Duo, a handheld device that emits monochromatic soft pulsed light in both sides, issued by diodes, in two distinct frequencies: at wavelengths of 590 and 525 nm.

In frequency 590 nm, this light dita “filtered” reactive fibroblasts of cells that are responsible for production of fibers that determine the firmness, flexibility, and stress of skin: the collagen and elastin.

In less than 2 weeks, the skin of the contour of eyes, lips, hands, neck, etc, retrieves volume, flexibility, lightness and smooth wrinkles so incredible.

Directions for use:
Position the face light appliance 590 to 3 cm away from the area to be treated.
Turn on the light emission and keep its incidence during 45 seconds/day.
Repeat on all areas to be addressed.

In frequency 525 nm, regulates the production of melanin, responsible for the brown pigmentation of the skin.

Results after 1 month of use:
-30.3% of pigmentation

Directions for use:
Position the face light appliance 525 to 3 cm away from the area to be treated.
Turn on the light emission and keep its incidence during 2 minutes/day.
Repeat on all areas to be addressed.
