Wonton Mee @ Restoran Station 8, SS2, P.J
I had been sick for two days and had no mood to update my blog but I’m all okay now!
\(^ω^\)
Actually I tried this Wonton Mee before I went for the SBay Wantan Mee at Restoran 111 (Bee Fatt) but I overlooked those photos when I organized my albums. (-_-;
The stall is manned by two middle age men, one takes care of the cooking station while another one in charge of serving food.
Char Siew Wonton Mee (Small – RM9.50)
It was a rather saucy plate of Wonton Mee. The springy noodles was tossed with a decently delicious sauce concoction, savoury with pleasant pork lard aroma. The Char Siew and Wonton was forgettable.
Fish Ball Noodles (Small – RM9.00)
Hubby’s plate of dry fish ball noodles was messy in presentation and it came with some unusual ingredients of braised pork, braised stuffed bean curd puff and shredded poached chicken. The dark sauce was okay but both the braised stuffs were bland tasting but I read quite some commendable reviews on Google Review, as well as my fellow blogger. ⊙.☉
Verdict: It’s another Wonton Mee stall that I’m not sure if I will come back again but the highly recommended Curry Noodles which always sold out early captures my interest.
Restoran Station 8
2 Jalan SS2/10, 47300 Petaling Jaya, Selangor.
Operating hours: Thurs – Tues: from 6.30am, close on Wednesday.

Yeah, I remember KY recommended this curry noodles…but it’s always sold out early in the morning (before I can get there), so no chance trying this. I remember liking the texture of the wantan noodles which are not the thin, springy type but with a firmer bite. As for the noodles, I’ve not come across this combo from a fish ball stall with char yoke, chicken, stuffed beancurd and fish balls in a dish which was rather interesting. Is the famous James Bond CKT still there?
Kris, I think we need to wake up earlier a bit so that we can have chance to try out the curry noodles. I read about your post of this Kopitiam and you tried and liked this fish ball noodles. 🙂
Kenapa won tan and not wan tan!
KY, apa won tan & wan tan?
I’m so glad to hear that you’re feeling better now! Being sick is such a bummer, but it’s great that you’re back in action. 👍
Oh, don’t worry about not updating your blog during those two days. We all need a break sometimes, right? But hey, I’m curious about this Wonton Mee you tried at Restoran 111 (Bee Fatt). 🍜 It sounds like a saucy delight with that delicious pork l. Mmm, my taste buds are tingling! 😋
It’s funny how sometimes overlook the photos we, isn’t it? But no worries, I’m sure the taste of the food made up for it. And it’s cool that the stall is manned by those two middle-aged men. Teamwork makes the dream work! 💪
Hmm, the Char Siew and Wonton might have been forgettable, but at least the noodles were springy and tasty with that sauce concoction. As for hubby’s fish ball noodles, well, messy presentation doesn’t always mean bad taste, right? And those unusual ingredients added a twist to the dish. Gotta love some surprises! 😄
Tekkaus, thank you for your concern.
The saucy wantan mee looks very appetizing but what a shame that the char siew and wantan were forgettable. I hope you get to try the curry mee and I’d like to know what you think.
PH, I have to wake up earlier a bit then… haha!
