BreadFruits Fruit & Bakery @ Hartamas
Our first visit to BreadFruits was failed attempt because the place was packed to the brimmed and we can’t get a table after waiting for a few minutes. The never give up spirit has brought us to this little quaint cafe again 2 weeks ago and we managed to secure the last table! *throwing flowers and dance around*
The brightly lit interior with plenty of natural sunlight penetrate in, an exposed brick wall adorned with framed photos has created a pleasant vibe to dine in however the tables are quite cramped within the shop area.
Al fresco dinibg also available too.
As the name suggest, there are varieties of fruits, organic dried goods, free-range eggs and wild honey on sales and they also use those healthy and fresh ingredients in their food too!
Satisfry Up (RM 22.80+)
Hubby felt hungrier than me that day (normally I’m the one who felt famished all the time >.<) and opted for this platter that comprising a pork sausage / bacon, scrambled eggs (or sunny-side up), sauteed mushroom, mashed potatoes, roasted cherry tomatoes, arugula & a slice of toast.
The pork sausage definitely deserved a sentence on its own, juicy and awesomely tasty with bursting flavor!
The scrambled egg was nicely executed, buttery and fragrant with perfect consistency.
I like how they add in plenty of vegetables in the platter, fresh arugula, light sauteed mushrooms and cherry tomatoes.
Coffee / tea came with the meal.
Also a glass of fresh juice ~ we were served with a delicious concoction of papaya + passion fruit.
Yellow Mellow Cheese Omelet (RM 17.80+)
Served with bacon, mushroom, tomato relish, arugula and a slice of sourdough.
Hiding underneath the huge serving of omelet were the bacon and generous serving of button mushrooms. Crowned with house made tomato relish, the tangy tomato flavor definitely elevated the omelet very well and I enjoyed it immensely.
Verdict: Definitely manage to lure me for more visits as it provides a healthier brunch option and I wanna try out the most raved French Toast with Passion Wild Honey!

Hmmm… prices are slightly on the higher side but the place looks like a good one for a weekend brunch with loved ones 🙂
