Fruiti King @ Sunway Pyramid~ The Real Fruiti Ice Cream

Fruiti King, Malaysia’s home-grown 100% real fruit icy dessert company has launched its first flagship store at Sunway Pyramid. With this launch, Malaysians can now enjoy a selection of six premium fruit ice cream – Musang King, Durian, Cempedak, Mango, Soursop and Sweet Corn which are made purely with real fruits without added preservatives, colurings and flavourings.

According to Mr. Max Teh, the founder and Chief Evangelist of Fruiti King, the idea of starting a real fruit ice cream brand was inspired by the local ‘aiskrim potong’ that he tasted at a small ice cream stall at Ipoh, Perak in 2016. The ‘aiskrim potong’ was rich with natural fruity taste which was almost like eating the real fruit itself but in a cooler form. Being a fruit and ice cream lover himself, this sparked the inspiration to create a globally recognized icy dessert brand by using fresh fruit ingredients, maintains the freshness and taste authenticity as well as nutritional value of the fruits.

Verdict: I’ve tried the Musang King, Durian and Cempedak, flavor wise, not as sweet as other brands and the flavor also not intense as well, most probably the real fruit doesn’t have overwhelming taste like artificial flavouring. Generous amount of real fruit pulps definitely added texture and flavour to the ice cream. Price might be on the higher side for ice cream but rest assured, the premium quality will be there.
