Salt and Pepper Roasted Nuts (Air-fryer version)

We all love snacks. Who doesn’t, right? 

This upcoming Chinese New Year celebration definitely is the perfect time to indulge in snacks and treats. However, adding inches to our waistline and suffering a sore throat from excessive snacking is not cool! So, this roasted nuts is one of the healthier alternatives that will prevent that inescapable guilt-trip.  

This recipe of air fried Salt & Pepper Roasted Nuts  makes a tasty snack in just ten minutes. 

 

Ingredients

250g mixed nuts (I used cashew nuts & almonds)

2 tablespoons olive oil

1.5 teaspoons salt

1.5 teaspoons ground black pepper

Optional: 1/2 teaspoon Pepper salt seasoning as below

Step 1: Preheat the air fryer to 160 º C.

Step 2: Whisk olive oil, salt, black pepper and pepper salt seasoning in a large bowl until all well combined. Add nuts and stir until they are evenly coated.

Step 3: Transfer the nuts to the air fryer basket and air fry for 4 minutes. Take the basket out and give the nuts a good toss and continue to air fry for another 2 minutes. 

Step 4: Remove the nuts from the air fryer and pour into a glass/steel bowl to let cool then store in airtight container.
