>My Elephant

>To celebrate birthday of one of my “Makan Gang” member – Chia Yee, Msshell suggest that we have our dinner at My Elephant which is located at Section 17 where I’m not familiar with >.<

Elephant decor is everywhere…..

Little Elephant was playing peek-a-boo with me 🙂

We choose to have our dinner at this tatami seat but it’s quite not comfortable if sit too long 😛

Fish pond beside our seat….

Refreshing Roselle Juice

Thai Lychee Jasmine Smoothie

Green Tea

Brown rice -RM 2.00 / pax (refillable)
A bit too hard 🙁

Som Tam Malakor (Papaya Salad) – RM 9.00
Crunchy & tangy salad prepared using shredded papaya, long bean, carrots, chilis & fish sauce as its ingredients. Tempts with the distinct textures of its ingredients and the trademark sour & spicy flavors peculiar to Thai cuisine.

Fish Cake (5pcs)- RM7.00
Taste just normal, nothing to shout about.

Pak Choop Peng Tod (Vege Tempura) – RM 9.00

Plak Meuk Yaeng (Squid with Thai Sauce) – RM 16.00
The squid taste bland but quite chewy. Taste better if dip with sauce that have a light tinge of spiciness & sourish.

Choo Chee Goong (Yellow Curry Prawn) – RM 18.00
It was cold when served, what a disappointment….

Tom Som Fish (Tom Yam Fish) – RM 20.00
Tom yam is obviously a must for a thai meal & we opted for the Tom Sum with fish. The first thing that caught my eye was the starfruit slices, never see this appear in any others Tom Yam that I tried before!!! The soup is chockfull with fish, mushrooms, lemongrass, tomatoes and coriander. But this “kind” looking clear soup almost “kill” everyone because it’s flaming hot, some even cannot finish their soup XD
