Open to the general public on April 2004, Avenue of Stars has become one of the most happening tourist spot at Hong Kong. Along the 440 metre promenade, the story of Hong Kong’s one hundred years of cinematic history is told through inscriptions printed on nine red pillars.

Set into the promenade are plaques honouring the celebrities. Some plaques contain hand prints and autographs of the stars set in cement, but most of the plaques only contain celebrities’ names as they are now deceased.

A 2.5 metre bronze statue of Bruce Lee was erected along the Avenue of Stars in 2005.

The main attraction of the Avenue of Stars definitely The Symphony of Lights (幻彩詠香江) which is presented every night at 8pm. Showcasing synchronised building exterior decorative light and laser multimedia display, featuring 44 buildings on both sides of the Victoria Harbour of Hong Kong accompanied by music, the show last for 10 minutes.

Some random photos taken at rooftop of IFC. We were brought to this place after dinner for a short walk, there are a few bars and lounges up here.
