>Mo Sang Kor
>Everybody have their preference to Bak Kut Teh. Some like it with thick soup aka Hokkien style which have dense herbal taste while some like the clear version aka Teow Chew style. Other than soup version, there was dry Bak Kut Teh too which become my favorite now, so I hardly have soup version nowadays.
Thanks to Astro TV program “Taste with Jason” let me know about Mo Sang Kor which established since 1972 at Klang & still commands a huge fans following until now. They had spread their wings to Kepong, Puchong & even Hutong food court at Lot 10, KL. (Ya, in a shopping mall!!!! A good revolution!!! Now we can have PORK in a food court at shopping mall!!!)
At Mo Sang Kor, Bak Kut Teh is served in these classic porcelain bowl instead of a big claypot.

Dai Guat (倧ιͺ¨) aka big bone – RM 10.00
The soup tastes like a cross of very flavorful, condensed Bak Kut Teh soup and braised pork gravy. This limited soup is heavenly delicious and so precious until soup refilling is not entertained here π
The skin was soft & gelatinous (melt in your mouth type) and the meat was tender & toothsome.

Pork Ribs (ζιͺ¨) – RM 10.00
As a result of long cooking hours the ribs are fork tender.

Oil Rice – RM 1.50
Fluffy & fragrant oil rice.

It’s simply out of the world delicious stuff, I kid u not~~

They have these pre-packed BKT which you can cook it at home~~

Lot 10 Hutong

>Ah, they have this in Hutong too? Brilliant cos I malas to travel too far from the city centre normally (such a failed foodie, right?)
π
>Yes, I do agree.
Aside from Seng Huat (the one under the bridge) in Klang, this would be the best choice for traditional BKT served in bowls.
>Oh….nice BKT π I tried the dried BKT, very delicious too π
>seems very nice..looks tempting!!
last time i went Lot10 Hu Tong i also saw this stall
>huuhuuu, i dun remember how great is the BKT in klang… saddd
>i just had it in Hutong on monday too π was good but i wish i had more gravy to go with it tho.
>One bowl of bakuteh soup a day keeps the doctor away.
>Oh yeah! It is time for home-cooking BKT with this π
>I saw those prepacked spice in the grocery store here in Melbourne too!! I will definitely give this a try when i go back.
>They have 3 outlets just in Klang alone!
I just want to say not all MSK shop is good!!! Be careful of the one in TAMAN SENTOSA KLANG!
Charged me and my friend so expensive! RM 35 for 2 people!! I asked them but no one reply me! I think bcz they wanna take revenge. I politely comment that my bowl’s meat smell very strong, maybe spoilt ady bcz my friend’s smell OK. They almost sound like scold me. So embarassing!!!! I also din’t make noise.
The service is super lousy too. All the staff also like boss! no one care about anything!!!
Better go to Ah Meng place. Taste also better!!!
I feel sorry for your experience and I think not all MSK is bad too, maybe you just had a bad luck that day π
>Heard good stuffs abt Mo Sang Kor..the best u can get in KL city i guess..
Me likey Dry versions too!
>Oooh .. Berkeley / Taman Kenari's Mo Sang Kor has done so well for itself! I had no idea π
I love the one in Berkeley, only had it ONCE as I always seem to be in one of the other "competitors" in Klang π
>how can any one able to resist that chunk of pork! it just melts me away! π
>No soup refill? How cannnnn??? :-O
>Ehhh I just posted on this shop today! What a coincidence! Though the soup was good, I couldn't quite accept the idea that BKT's soup is not refillable and it's not served steaming hot with claypot π With such small bowl, the soup got cold easily and it didn't taste as good anymore. I still prefer BKT served in Claypot I guess…
>Looks like the nearest shop from my place is the one in Puchong. Hmm, maybe wait another 2 more months before trying it.
>i just had this afternoon for lunch..
me and my colleague were pretty dissapointed~
>i just had it in Hutong last week. it is really a bummer that cannot refill soup π
>the bak kut teh make me sick of it…why? coz i juz can see instead put inside my mouth. haha thx for sharing the info! gotta try out in a day!
>Kenny: Haha, I'm a lazy food blogger too, lazy to travel too far π
J2Kfm: I just love the taste of the soup which resemble braised pork to me π
uLi: With the dry BKT, I can have lots of rice lor… lol
MK: Didn't have a try?

Precious Pea: Did u try on the pre-pack spice?
jason: Good business & must be making good money huh…
>thenomadGourmand: Klang is too far for me too, hope their business keep doing well so I can enjoy it at Kepong π
Julian: Klng definitely have many good BKT huh…
BBO: Can't resist even a person on diet-ing like me ^.^
minchow: Yeah…
Iamthewitch: Read ur post, agreed with u , portion very small lor.. π
JD: Wah, u can tahan 2 more months after seeing my photo? Great!!
taufulou: Mind to share what happen?
xin: Many people can't accept this too, but what to do?
Kenzo: You are abroad?
>wow! I am flowing the BKT trail there are all exiting! i found one of the l;ongest exsisting BKT in kland , just awesome too when I found out the top5 BKT in malaysia situated in Klang, awesome trail!
