>Ole-Ole Bali
>It was Christams Day 2009 & I have decided to venture to Biz Cafe after reading load of reviews. Alas, it was closed on that day. (Though it has a note on the door stating that they are open on Dec 25 after 11am ~~ and it was 2pm =_= . Must be the “hangover” :-p ).
From there on, I trotted along with my Hubby + my 4 mths old princess to look for another eatery. We were quite hungry that we could eat a whole “pig” :-p.
What a better place to go and gourge yourself than Ole-ole Bali. A dining place that are full to the brimmed with everything Balinese as well as the famously big portion of every dishes. Mind you that the menu is very similar to Bumbu Bali since Ole Ole Bali is a sister restaurant.

Variety of Balinese ornaments, you can purchase these exotic decorative items & artworks if you like it.

Staircase to heaven?
Upstairs seats available too.
Shall we start to savour the essence of Balinese culture ?

Barley Lime (RM 6.00)
Our thirst quencher~~ We felt quite warm although we sat indoor 🙁

Squid Salad (RM 14.00)
Laden bountifully with all sorts of vegetables & crackers. The slightly sourish lemongrass & fried shallots dressing really whets our appetite. The smoky taste of the grilled squid made this salad more lip smacking.

Ole Ole Trio (RM 38.00)
A combination of BBQ chicken wings, sate lilit & cumi-cumi goreng (fried calamari) served with 3 types of dipping sauces – sambel matah, sambel terasi & tartar sauce.

Sambel Matah ~ Raw shallots & lemongrass sambal

Sambel Terasi ~ Dried shrimp chili sauce

BBQ Chicken Wings
I like chicken wings although it’s a bit burnt 😛

Sate Lilit
Lemongrass stalk as skewer, the fish paste are so flavorful & burst with smoky taste, my favorite dish among the Balinese delicacies.

Fried Calamari
The chewy squid with crunchy batter make this an ideal snack, specially for drinkers 🙂

Grass Jelly with Rambutan (RM 8.00)
Cubed cincau & canned rambutan served with lemongrass & ginger syrup. A sweet conclusion to ended our splendid Balinese meal 🙂
