Tai Lei Loi Kee @ IOI Boulevard, Puchong
I believe Tai Lei Loi Kee (大利来记) is no stranger to those traveled Macau before because it serve one of the must try food ~ Pork Chop Bun which recognized as the best at Macau. Now we no need to fly to Macau to have this delicacy as they had invaded to our neighborhoods with total of 9 outlets and still expending!
The self-service ordering counter. Customer will be given an number and need to collect your food when your number is called.
The space was rather cramped with tables are placed quite near to each others.
Although the space was limited but I like the interior of this place, exposed brick walls, unique hanging lamps and some potted plants adorning the restaurant.
Signature Pork Chop Bun & Drink (RM 13.90) + Add on cheese (RM 2.00)
The pork chop bun was a pretty simple ensemble of a piece of huge size marinated pork chop and a bun with no dressing, sauce or crisp green . (We add on a piece of cheese). The bun had a lightly crispy outer and soft inner, sandwiched between was a juicy slab of pan fried pork chop which was tender and flavorful.
Bouncing Noodle with Pork Chop & Drink (RM 13.90)
Served with the same marinated pan fried pork chop as the pork chop bun, the noodle (similar with wonton mee) on the other hand was not up to par. The noodle was dry and not bouncing as per claimed and the sauce was lack of flavortoo, it just far for being impressive in my books.
Verdict: I love the pork chop, undeniable but the noodle was a let down. Maybe I just stick to the bun chop bun next time 😛

Went Macau twice but never got the chance to try this pork bun and now they are in Malaysia, making me craving for more. Looks like Malaysian indeed love everything when comes to pork. No wonder they can keep expanding xP
Went twice but never try *unbelievable look with eyes popping out!*
Tried the signature pork chop bun once at Hutong Lot 10 and found it wee bit dry to my liking.
On the hand, I didn’t know there’s an outlet in Sri Petaling, which is closer to my home. I always thought there were only 2~3 outlets in Klang Valley. Hehe.
They are expanding very fast!
Looks yummy!~
Indeed!
The other day I had their pork chop bun with polo pao. I like their polo pao. The pork chop quite big piece. I heard my fren said the chicken wings are not bad.
Anyway….does the pork chop bun taste near to the one sold in Macau? I’ve not tried the Macau one T_T
Me too, never been to Macau before 😛
