Surisit Thai Kopitiam @ TTDI, K.L
Was at Taman Tun Dr. Ismail area last few weeks for my friend’s dance performance and decided to have dinner at Surasit Thai Kopitiam which already in my to-try list for the longest time >.<
Tucked at row behind the Maybank, Tom Dick and Harry’s and Sid’s Pub at TTDI’s Lorong Rahim Kajai 13, parking may be a nuisance in some ways here >.<
A humble looking restaurant with minimal decoration but essentially equipped with air-conditional.
My eyes was riveted to these colourful bottled drinks once I stepped in the shop, not only on sale but also part of the decoration 🙂
Khao Phat Sator Kung Heng (RM 14.90)
Oh, I love my fried rice, so fluffy and fragrant with eggy edge. The petai gave the mild flavored fried rice a pungent finish. Also spotted were big dried shrimps and two prawns.
Ratna Gwio Teow (RM 12.90)
Resembled our “wat dan hor” but another type wider rice sheet (hor fun) was used, submerged in savory thick eggy gravy topped with vegetables, sliced pork & chicken. I think hubby should order others more “interesting” item than got this mediocre noodle.
Mun Thod Gapi (RM16.90 ~ S)
The fried pork was well marinated with subtle taste of shrimp paste with nice balance of fat and lean meat. The crusty top and the burst of flavour of every bite make this incredibly addictive! Also served along were the deep fried kaffir lime leaves and the dipping chilli sauce.
Verdict: I reckon I was hooked on that crispy fried pork, revisit definitely a “YES” for me to fix my craving and explore more of their menu!

环境看起来还挺古早味的哦,让我想起童年时候到泰国边境的茶室感觉一样。为什么没看你吃很正宗的泰国食物的?
这次叫个人餐,下次再叫菜吃饭 😛

Old school feel~
好像不錯吃的樣子,我會去試試看,希望能在這裡找到一家有正宗泰國風味的餐廳。
正不正宗我不敢讲,但刚我口味咯 🙂
My family love Thai food, still searching for a best Thai restaurant .
Dare not to tell this is the best but the food suit my tastebud~
