Cheese Tarts @ W Mart, Jalan Chan Sow Lin, KL
Yummy yet reasonably priced cheese tarts at an unlikely place, anyone?
This bakery is well hidden in W Mart located at industrial area of Jalan Chan Sow Lin. W Mart is a small supermarket sharing space with a paper supplier Tuck Cheong Loong Trading. Patrons will greeted by the paper supplier’s sales office on your left and the bakery on your right once you step into the place. There are tables and chairs at the front part of the shop for patrons who like to have your tarts/cakes here while the supermarket is at the back.
We were there on a late Sunday afternoon and the blueberry cheese tarts were sold out. So we settled with their new flavors of Match and black sesame. Oh my, Durian cheese cake and cheese tart! But unfortunately they are not in season now >_< Beside what you can see in the photo, they also selling assorted buns with filling such as red bean bun and others.
Matcha Cheese Tart (RM4.00)
Thick and rich creamy layer of Match infused cheese layer atop of buttery tart shell. The Matcha flavor was sufficiently satisfied yet not too overpowering.
With surprise hidden underneath ~ red bean paste! Aren’t they the perfect match in heaven?
Black Sesame Cheese Tart (RM4.00)
Pleasantly nutty and creamy, definitely worth my calories consumption 😛
Pure Orange Juice (RM5.99) & Carrot, Beetroot & Orange (RM8.99)
I was so tempted to take away the blueberry cheese cake (RM7.99/pcs) which is fully crowned with fresh berries but we were not going back home so soon and this goodies need to be kept chilled. Next round perhaps ^__^
Verdict: These cheese tarts are certainly great value for money! However these cheese tarts are totally different with Japanese cheese tarts, no matter from outlook, flavors or baking method.

It looks cute and yummy. The prices are very reasonable as these days the Japanese cheese tarts are costing a bomb.
Now that Hokkaido C Tarts also want to jump in! LOL It is a trend for cheese tarts now after that Roti Boy mania.

Yawor, this place is out of my exploration area too. But you can make your way here to get some cheese tarts or cheese cakes then continue to walk walk at the new mall of MyTown, Ikea Cheras or Sunway Veleocity.
i like creamy desserts, so this would be good for me 😀
