Estadia By Hatten @ Melaka
We were arranged to stay at Estadia By Hatten, the latest Peranakan themed boutique hotel by Hatten Group during our visit to Melaka for the ‘Nyonya Memoirs’ performance.
About Estadia by Hatten
Hubby dropped us (Sam & me) off at the ground floor at Hatten Square (drop-off point for cars & buses) before he proceeded to the car park at Level 5. We were greeted by a tastefully decorated waiting area with comfy sofas once we entered the building. We took lift to Level 3 where the hotel’s reception area located.
The reception area has adopted a simple but elegant bright white theme. Our check in process was swift and pleasant, we were given a room at Level 5.
The beautiful setting will certainly strike a person’s mood. Echoing the theme of the hotel, the lobby is adorned with Peranakan ornaments. The washroom is a must visit I tell ya (sound like a tourist attraction huh =.=”). Ok well, no photo of the washroom, do come and see it yourself!
Baba’s Lounge right beside the reception counter serves refreshing beverages. Contemporary designed space furnished with modern plushy sofas and bar counter embossed with Peranakan motif.
Even the room access card design is take into consideration to match with the hotel’s Peranakan theme. Thumbs up to the team!
Our 53 sq meter Estadia Suite is fully carpeted features 2 rooms with own attached bathroom. The suite is spacious with a soothing tone of grey flowery motif wall with oriental lattice detailing, modern yet retained the tradition.
Other room types: Estadia Deluxe, Estadia Family Suite, Estadia Deluxe Suite & Estadia Premier Suite
Our King size bed was extremely comfortable with silky soft pillows and thick duvets for a blissful slumber. I like how the room integrates vibrant colour feature wall with peranakan art piece which added a lively vibe in the set up.
Dressing cum working desk and complimentary internet access which was pretty high speed during my stay. That’s definitely a plus point for those who can’t live without it =.=’
There were also a large LCD TV and enough plug points to support your electronics.
Wardrobe & indoor slippers.
In-room safe
Coffee & tea making facilities
The bathroom was fairly large in size with both rainforest and hand shower. Standard amenities like shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hairdryer, toothbrush set, shaving kit, sewing kit and cotton pads were provided too. Everything in place was spick and span.
Enter to another room in the suite.
2 single beds in same designed room.
Completed with LCD TV, dressing table and wardrobe.
The bathroom was equally spacious.
Verdict: Unquestionably a pleasant stay at this uniquely themed hotel and I felt a little reluctant to check out. Another plus point for the hotel’s location, it is within walking distance of popular tourist locations such as St Paul’s Hill, Jonker Walk and the A Famosa fort.
