Miru Dessert Cafe @ Damansara Uptown
Checked out one of the latest dessert parlor at Damansara Uptown recently after a satisfying lunch at Annie 1 Family Restaurant (will blog about it later).
Miru Dessert Cafe, specializes in Japanese Shibuya-style honey toasts and frozen yogurt drinks that attract crowd which share the same love for desserts.
A sunshine blessed cafe, Miru exudes an easy going vibe with its soothing wooden furniture in light tone and white themed space. We were there on Saturday afternoon circa 2pm+, the cafe was almost fully occupied.
Outdoor seats were available too.
Simple 2 pages menu with only consists of honey toasts, frozen yogurts, cakes and beverages.
Complimentary self-service Jasmine Tea.
Shibuya Honey Toast (RM 15.00)
Opted for the original classic rendition of Shibuya Honey Toast, it is a huge and thick toast accompanied with 2 scoops of Vanilla ice cream and whipped cream.
The toasts are carefully slathered with butter, toasted on each side, and assembled in a square bread crust before the toppings are heaped on. It was excessively decadent nonetheless with pleasant buttery flavor. I like the texture of crispy edges and light fluffiness inner. An absolute sin for weight-watchers, I don’t want to think about the calories in this.

Lychee Freeze (RM 18.00)
We also had this frozen yogurt in Lychee flavor which was their new addition for the froyo shake choices.
It was simply too adorable to the eye! Topped with lychee, strawberries, edible flowers and crushed peanuts around the mouth of the glass. I like it not too sour with subtle hint of lychee flavor, very creamy yet refreshing! Although the earlier lunch and the huge portion of honey toast really make me stuffed, but I still finished this effortlessly 😛
Verdict: This place certainly got all my checkmarks of a great hangout place in terms of food and service. Are you eager to try it out?

The way they decorated and presented the Lychee Freeze is too unique and enchanting.
Indeed looks like an artistry piece. 🙂
The Lychee Freeze looks very pretty. Hope the honey toast is not too sweet!
Not too sweet for my standard, but you just have to try it yourself to see whether it suit your taste bud 😛
Very nice and cute decor they have~~
Quite minimal in decoration I would say, but simple setting always can capture people’s heart~

我一直以为这家吃蜜糖吐司,原来连饮料也这么讲究,像艺术品一样的饮料马上扣住我的心,这家要认真考虑提早去见识。
恐怕现在已经是人气店了,排队等座位应该免不了了~~ Good Luck!
