Skippys Pizza @ Damansara Uptown
I suggested to have lunch at Skippys Pizza on a fine Saturday was met with instant approval from hubby simply because he’s a big porky fan!
If you haven’t already known, Skippys Pizza started as a porky pizza home delivery before setting up shop at Phileo Damansara and now second outlet at Damansara Uptown.
The restaurant exudes a youthful and casual vibe with its black and wood theme. I like how the chalk board panels with names of the food served here as well as the ongoing promotions decorated the place.

Their menu boasts a wide selection of swine dishes included , salad, soup, pizza, pasta, burger and light bites. There are also non-porky dishes if you are not fond of the porky fare.

Crispy Pork (RM 16.00)
Great as beer snack, the crispy pork were served pipping hot and well flavoured but slightly too dry on texture. It was indeed a good jaw exercise when munching on this, LOL.
Skippys Pulled Pork 9″ (RM 28.90)
Pizza varieties at Skippys Pizza are aplenty, ranging from meaty, vegetarian and seafood. The meaty pizza category especially attracted my attention, the numerous combinations of toppings really make me hard hard time which to order. Decision, decision, decision…..
Perfect pizza base with the right thickness and slight crispy edges was topped with lavish amount of ingredients and beautiful melted cheese. There were pork bacon, pork sausages and pulled pork, the flavors were spot-on with the smokiness from the bacon and sausages was superficially striking. Needless to say, this porcine-topped pizza had us sighing at pleasure with every bite.
Aglio Olio (RM 16.90)
Huge portion and decent Aglio Olio but easily forgettable.
Verdict: We were absolutely enthralled by their pizza and definitely lure us for more visits. I heard that their ribs are worth a try as well and I found out that the delivery charges is quite reasonable too, perhaps home delivery pizza for next?

We chose pizza this this time, which is pork pizza too, pork ribs for next time perhaps 🙂
i’ve been tempted to order delivery from skippys … but i live outside their delivery zone, unfortunately! hopefully i’ll try them someday 🙂
I think you need to pay extra if out of their delivery area? I roughly go through found that my house is within the delivery area 😛
