Product Review: IOPE Air Cushion
Cushion foundation pushed onto the cosmetic scene for the past 4-5 years and IOPE was the first to release cushion foundation. It caused quite a storm when it was first launched in Korea and according to some articles, it was sold every 30 seconds in Asia. Cushion foundation is one-of-a-kind foundation that contained in a sponge and applied by using a special puff.

Packaging

Notice the rim of the cover? It indicate 4 types of finishes; ‘Moisture Lasting’ has a blue ring, ‘Intense Cover’ cover has a copper ring, ‘Natural Glow’ and ‘Matte’ have a silver ring.

The compact in pearly white looks expensive and sturdy. It is pretty lightweight.

There is a lid to cover the cushion and to prevent the product from drying out. The blue Rubycell puffis is antibacterial and antimicrobial which prevents the growth of mold and bacteria. It gives a smooth finish to the overall look.

The unique 3D honeycomb shape sponge offers the user a more controlled pour (or in this case, “dab”) of product; less liquid is dispensed onto the puff, and what is dispensed is more evenly distributed.
How to use?
Just like any other cushion foundations, simply press, or ‘stamp’ the applicator into the sponge, then PAT it on your face. Stamp a little extra over any areas that need additional coverage.

The product comes with a replacement air cushion + applicator puff.

Before: Only toner & moisturizer was applied on clean face. Skin problem: big pores, uneven skin tone, redness from the pimples & acne scars.

After application of IOPE Air Cushion & a layer of loose powder.
Verdict: The texture of the Iope Air Cushion is quite lightweight and coverage tends to be on the sheer side. It did offer some coverage, but not as much as a regular liquid foundation would. It leaves a dewy/shiny finish on the skin but I prefer to lightly dust some powder for a matte finish.

nice… but your packaging and mine is different. Didn’t know they have this type too, I didn’t see it in korea.
Maybe this is newer version?
Looks like a satisfactory purchase!
I personally like this brand!
Do you feel that the finish is too “shiny”? Maybe of my skin type (combination), I feel a little bit too ‘shiny” for my liking, so I’ll apply loose powder on it.
