Laksalicious @ Penang (Frozen Ready-To-Eat Food)
If you are tempted by the Penang Asam Laksa of my previous post, here’s the “antidote” to fix your cravings!
Frozen Penang Asam Laksa all the way from Penang! Thank you the recommendation from my foodie friend, my neighbour and I placed an order to Laksalicious , a Laksa specialist in Penang with her humble restaurant located at Hutton Lane, George Town.
Frozen Assam Laksa (RM10.00/set)
The set comes with Laksa noodles, Asam Laksa soup, prawn cracker and shrimp paste.
Vegetables are not included in the frozen package, so you can prepare your preferred ingredients to go with your Asam Laksa, such as the standard shredded pineapple, onion, cucumber and fresh mint leaves.
The flavour of the broth was as pronounced as it should be, a well balanced sourness and spiciness with pleasant note of spices and herbs. It is also packed generously with shredded fish meat.
The prawn cracker is missing in my photos and I only found out when I was editing my photos. ~>_<~
~ Frozen Crispy Prawn Fritters (Cucur Udang) with Homemade Chili Dipping Sauce (RM25.00/set of 10pcs)
~ Frozen Chicken Lor Bak (RM20.00 /box of 10 rolls)

The prawn fritters were crunchy with bits of assorted ingredients packed inside and they are great as afternoon snack to pair with coffee or tea. If I have to comment, it would be the seasoning which I thought was a bit salty.
The spring roll is filled with julienned jicama, good to dip into the Asam Laksa broth or can be eaten as it is.
The Chicken Lor Bak was decent with slivers of marinated chicken meat and spices, flavourful and moreish.

How convenient to have frozen asam laksa!. These are frozen products and may I know how is it delivered?
PH, the food is nicely packed in ice box and delivered by the assigned delivery company.
I am dying to eat my hometown Assam Laksa. My hands are shaking now. This one need to order with minimum 10 packs! Wow! Banyak lah.
