Beauty in the Pot 美滋锅 @Tropicana Gardens Mall
It’s been raining a lot lately and hotpot definitely one of the perfect comfort meals to warm up the tummy!
It’s hard to miss the eye-catching Beauty in the Pot’s signature flower bear at the entrance of all of their outlets.
Featuring a dreamy baby blue theme, the spacious dining area was beautifully elegant framed by furniture in blue and grey tone and a blends of rose gold and reflective glass details. We were ushered to one the banquette seats and the staff explained the details of menu as well as the ordering system to us.
For a surcharge of RM7.90/pax, patrons can acquire access to the sauce counter which showcased a good selection of sauces and condiments for patrons to mix and match their preferred dipping sauce concoction. Appetizers and cut fruits were available also.
Some of the recommended sauce mixes “recipes”.
The must have soup base at Beauty in the Pot unquestionably is their signature Beauty Collagen Broth (RM45.90 for single pot, RM25.90 for twins pot & RM13.90 for quart pot). It’s pork bone soup with dried scallop and the soup base also came with some mushrooms, bean curd, red dates and wolfberries (Goji). The broth has been simmering for long hours till the bones expel their milky natural essence hence giving the soup its signature cloudy white broth base. It was creamy and thick as I could feel the after stickiness of the essence on my lips. A gentle sweetness is also denoted as an aftertaste.
The other soup base we had was Herbal Drunken Broth (RM45.90 for single pot, RM25.90 for twins pot & RM13.90 for quart pot). This was lighter in flavour with a pleasant herbal taste and mild wine endnote. There were some Kampung Chicken pieces in the soup too. Other soup base choices included Longevity Wild Mushroom (Vegetarian), Spicy Nourishing Pork Bone, Vitamin C Tomato Sweet Corn and Cooling Coconut.
Sufficient of extra soups for refilling were ready for us as well.
The menu comprised of assorted premium hotpot ingredients included sliced meat (pork, beef, lamb), offals, sausages, handmade meat balls, meat paste, premium seafood, dumplings, bean curds, bean curd sheets, mushrooms, vegetables, rice cakes and noodles. The drinks menu offered teas, juices, beers, canned and bottles drinks.
Sliced Pork Collar (half portion-RM14.90), Pork & Chives Dumpling (half portion-RM.900) & Iced Tofu (half portion-RM4.00)
Chinese Cabbage (half portion-RM5.50) Mushrooms (half portion-RM8.50), Quail Eggs (half portion-RM8.00) & Homemade Udon (half portion-RM8.00)
Assorted Ball Platter (RM22.50)
Nagano Pork Belly (half portion-RM27.00)
Homemade Fish Tofu (RM3.90/pcs)
Complimentary Yuzu Sorbet
Verdict: Comfy environment, impeccable service, premium ingredients, you get what you paid for. A meal at Beauty in the Pot certainly does not come cheap and I guess it shall remains as an occasional indulgence for me.

This place is mahal but food is so good tho!
KY, yawor….. 🙁
The food is indeed pricey looking at what you had…that doesn’t even look enough for my husband alone….hah..hah. Everything has a price here…even the sauces..alamak! And I heard that there’s a dining
time limit here even though the food is not buffet-style. Pay so much to get chased off isn’t very endearing. >.<
Kris, they didn’t limit our dining time during our visit, perhaps it wasn’t peak hour. I initially thought that the food that we ordered couldn’t filling enough, but to my surprise, I’m bloated after the meal. Most probably because of those rather filling sauce (I had sesame sauce + crushed peanut + minced beef sauce), as well as the fruits, pickled and fried soy beans snacks.
