Pokemon Noodle House @ Taman Sri Sinar, Kepong
I think Pokemon Noodle House at Taman Sri Sinar is no stranger to Kepong residents. Having delighted customers with its trusty bowls of Pan Mee for years, this long standing little eatery always get quite packed during meal times and often need to wait for a bit for an empty table.
The restaurant with a typical no fuss, no frills setting was rather hot and stuffy, although the place is equipped with ceiling fans. If you’re planning a visit, please be warned that the noodle takes quite long to be served, we waited almost half an hour for ours.
Pokemon’s menu is simple and straightforward. With only two options for noodles – Pan Mee and Yee Mee, then choose the soup base. If a bowl of noodle is not sufficient to fill you up, add on some snacks to complete your meal.
Iced Kopi (RM3.50) with beautiful coffee art, which is better than a lot of “expensive cafes” out there. LOL
Fried Fish Cake (RM6.00)
Pipping hot and bouncy.
Pan Mee in Clear Soup (Small – RM8.50)
My default order for Pan Mee is thick flat noodles, and Pokemon rendition was cooked perfectly up to my preference. It had a al-dente texture that I adore with slightly chewy bite. Topped with usual condiments of crunchy fried anchovies, Chinese mushroom, pork slices, Sayur Manis and fried shallot, the Pan Mee submerged in a light yet delicious tasting anchovies broth. The Pan Mee certainly scored exceptionally well on taste and texture in my book.
Loh Pan Mee (Small – RM9.00)
Thick and starchy broth with the distinctive punchy vinegary flavour, the Loh soup base lover seem to quite satiated with his order. ^__^
Verdict: I have no hesitation in recommending this place to the Pan Mee fanatic. Although I don’t mind the queue but I was kind of lost my patience when I drenched in sweat midway through the lunch. ~>_<~ Perhaps I can bring a handheld mini fan during my next visit. LOL

Wow this place comes highly recommended! The pan mee and loh pan mee looks as good as the taste you described 🙂 But hearing that there is long wait and some more very hot, it is not very encouraging unless if we happen to be in the area. My brother likes pan mee but I doubt of he will want to go through the hassle. But can KIV.
PH, maybe there is less crowd on weekdays, maybe you and your brother can try your luck on non peak hours on weekday.
That ice kopi win liao lor
