Jaeci Place @ Sungai Buloh

Hidden away in a quiet commercial area in Sungai Buloh, Jaeci Place is one of those cafés where the atmosphere is the main attraction.

Warm wood tones, minimalist interiors, soft lighting & a tranquil, zen-like ambience that instantly encourages you to slow down.

The menu is relatively limited, focus on tea creations, one-person hot pots, rice bowls & a handful of light bites.

Long Jing (RM15.00/pot)

Definitely a good place to spend a peaceful afternoon over a pot of tea.

Collagen Chicken Hot Pot (RM33.00)

The collagen broth was flavourful and comforting, laden with ingredients such as chicken meat, vegetables, meat balls and mushrooms. The hotpot also included a portion of noodles which made it a rather filling meal.

Yakiniku Beef Bowl (RM35.00)

Savoury sweet Yakiniku beef, Furikake and egg yolk, a combination that can’t go wrong for everyone. The addition of pineapple ring provided a pleasing fruity note to the dish. I especially like the pickled cucumber.

Verdict: The food was decent—nothing particularly memorable, but well prepared and satisfying. What really stood out is the space itself. There was no pressure to finish up quickly, making it an ideal place for long conversations or catching up with friends.
