Short Getaway to the South ~ Pulai Desaru Beach Resort & Spa

Last month with a group of friends we traveled to the South for our short getaway. Our destination was Pulai Desaru Beach Resort & Spa which nestled in the heart of Desaru, Johor, one of the most beautiful unspoiled beaches in the East coast of Peninsular Malaysia.

Using the new Senai-Pasir Gudang-Desaru expressway our traveling time was reduced by almost 1 hour.

 

After a good 4+ hours of driving we were finally here checked in to Pulai Desaru Beach Resort & Spa.

Our Standard Superior Room with dark walnut furniture, luxurious white bedding and a feature wall of the hotel’s theme colour ~ apple green.

 

Very spacious room with tile flooring and a huge glass door allow natural light flown in gently.

 

 Dressing table, LCD TV and balcony overlooking the swimming pool  and beach.

 

Fresh fruit with cutlery (thoughtful gesture),  coffee making facilities, wardrobe completed with in-door slippers & electronic safety box and mini fridge.

Another lounge area further in completed with pool table and dart games. Unwind and enjoy cocktails and mocktails in the open air Lobby Bar with scenic views of the swimming pool and the beautiful landscape garden.

Swimming pool

 

Highlight of the swimming pool ~ the water slide where kids and adults enjoyed it immensely!

 

Sam was looking forward to the pool time and she definitely had so much fun here!
