Honestly, I would never expect such a scene when I reached Kedai Kopi Kow Po, Bentong.
Long queue outside the restaurant.
And the noisy and jam packed restaurant.
I’ve heard about this famous ABC ice cream shop at Bentong a few years back from a colleague. I was brought to this place by my boss on our previous company trip. Established for more than 50 years by the late Mr. Tan Soon Chuan and his son Mr. Tan Kow Po inherited his business then now passing it to his sons.
The house-made ice cream come with assorted flavors from the common vanilla, strawberry, corn and chocolate to the special localized flavors such as durian, peanut, pandan and coconut.
Not sure the exact name for the below shaved ice ice cream, sorry 😛
Cooling shaved ice dessert always a welcome treat on a hot day. The toppings were quite generous and the ice cream was velvety smooth and creamy. The use of natural ingredients for all their ice cream rendering a lighter flavour version, so don’t expect some strong flavoured ice cream here.
Verdict: Worth a drop by if you are at that area for some ice cream treat.

A bit overrated, do you thick so LOL
Been there once and it wasn’t a peak season so we got to indulge the ice cream in peace.
