The Loaf
INVITATION
“The Bread Party”
Venue: The Award winning ~ The Loaf Bakery & Bistro
The host : Tun Dr. M
The Guests:-
Prawn & Avocado Salad (RM20.00++)
Crisp iceberg lettuce, crunchy carrot and radish, creamy avocado and bouncy grilled prawn with fragrant sesame dressing have made up this wholesome salad.
Field Fresh Mushroom Salad (RM 16.00++)
Sautéed shiitake, button, enoki, eringi and honshimeji mushrooms lay on bed of fresh ice lettuce, the tangy balsamic vinegar dressing had lifted up the flavor of the salad.
Mushroom Soup (RM 18.00++)
Served in a bread bowl, the mushroom soup had nice creamy texture and the mushroom bits were in abundance!
Leek and Potato ( RM5.00++)
Here, the taste outdoes the look. The soup was thick and creamy , each spoonful left a pleasant potato taste to the palate.
Salmon Oelek (RM 44.00++)
The thick slab of salmon coated with spicy Oelek sauce was nothing less than spectacular! The salmon was pan fried fragrantly bringing out some burnt flavor that no one can resist.
Beef Meatloaf Steak (RM 29.00++)
The meatloaf was infused with rich flavors from the marinade was impressive.
Chicken Meatloaf (RM26.00++)
Chicken meatloaf was slightly too soft to my liking but the black pepper sauce went well with it. Served with rice, blanched vegetables and sunny side up made it a complete meal!
Chili Prawn (RM 26.00++)
Al-dente pasta tossed in light garlicky sauce with some chopped chili and herbs to jazzed up the flavors. A little grumble here, I wish the prawns can be bigger in size 😛
Tun’s Breakfast (RM 24.00++)
Yes, this is Tun Dr. M’s favourite breakfast! I can’t believe my eyes when I saw the portion! 2 slices of thick bread, 2 hard boil eggs and a bowl of curry mutton, I think he is a BREAKFAST PERSON just like me ^__*
The curry was thick, creamy and chocked full of tender mutton with slightly gamey taste, but this is mutton after all!
Other than the fulfilling starters and mains, various of healthy breads and pastries also joining the party!
