Yen Can Cook ~ Cheesy Chicken Chop
Instead of the whip up 3-4 Chinese dishes that go with rice like what I usually do from Monday to Thursday, I like to wrap up my work week and kick off the weekend with some lazy or fuss free recipes for my Friday night dinner. Pizza, roasted chicken, one pot pasta or fried rice/noodles are some of my favourite food to prepare and today’s Cheesy Chicken Chop is another recipe to be added into the list.
Ingredients (Serve: 3)
3pcs chicken chop
1 tomato, sliced
Grated Mozzarella Cheese
Cooking oil
Marinade
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon pepper
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Step 1: Marinate the chicken chop with marinade for at least 2 hours in the fridge.
Step 2: Bring out the marinated chicken chop (Step 1) and let it return to room temperature.
Step 3: Heat the pan and cooking oil. Pan fried both side of the marinated chicken chop (Step 2) until fully cooked. Remove and set aside.
Step 4: Place sliced tomatoes on the chicken chop (Step 3), then topped with grated Mozzarella Cheese. Put the chicken chop on lined baking tray.
Step 5: Preheat oven at 220°C. Baked the chicken chop (Step 4) for 12 minutes or until the cheese has melted and browned.
Step 6: Serve.
HAPPY COOKING! #stayhealthy #staysafe
To make your Friday night dinner even more fuss-free, bake your chicken chops in the oven for 20 – 25 mins (less one pan to wash…kekeke) and put in the tomatoes and cheese in the last 10 mins of your cook…and they’ll be just the same as what you’ve done here. ^_~ I love baked chicken chops too for minimal cooking and washing…lol.
Kris, thank you for you tips and I’ll do the way you recommended next time!
macam makanan orang putih, nais.
KY, any food with cheese added = makanan orang putih, hehe ^__^
